Despite his physical struggles, Donovan&#8217;s faith remained unshakeable. He continued to worship Jesus fervently, finding solace in prayer during his darkest moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One day in August 2023, while deep in prayer in his closet, Donovan experienced a profound spiritual encounter. The Lord spoke to him, saying, &#8220;I want you to go to Jamaica with this mission at Rural Hill Church of Prophecy.&#8221; This divine encounter not only brought miraculous healing to Donovan&#8217;s body but also planted the seed for what would become the GISSDON Foundation Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inspired by this calling, Donovan and Gissan expanded their existing ministry of feeding the homeless in the Washington, D.C. area. They were compelled to broaden their reach and impact lives beyond their local community. In October 2023, just two months after receiving God&#8217;s message, GISSDON Foundation Inc. took its first steps towards fulfilling its mission. The foundation sent two barrels filled with clothes and essential supplies to Jamaica, marking the beginning of a sustained effort to support those in need. By the end of the year, GISSDON foundation Inc. had dispatched a total of nine barrels, demonstrating the rapid growth and commitment of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the GISSDON Foundation Inc. is a Christ-centered organization guided by the principles of love, compassion, and grace for all people. Born from personal struggle and divine intervention, GISSDON Foundation Inc. strives to be a beacon of hope and support for communities in the DMV, Jamaica, and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the organization continues to grow and evolve, the mission remains clear: to live out the love of Christ beyond mere words. Through the generosity of donors and the dedication of our volunteers, GISSDON Foundation Inc. is committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of those served.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
